Tasting notes
Nose: Pleasant notes of cherry, strawberry, vanilla and a hint of caramelised cinnamon apple.
Palate: Velvety and round in the mouth, full of fruit, followed by cherry aromas. Vanilla notes appear then thanks to the elegant presence of wood. A full-bodied structure, well balanced between tannins and acidity and a long persistency.

Origins
Along with Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, the village forms what is known as "The Golden Triangle", reputed to produce the finest white wines in existence. Here, Chardonnay finds a perfect terroir, gently sloping and ideally exposed to the east or south, composed of limestone and marl.
Around 30% of the appellation's surface area is classified as 1er Cru, made up of 19 different climats.
Vinification and maturing
Vintage : 2024
Yields were heavily impacted, with losses reaching up to 70% in certain areas. The Côte Chalonnaise proved more resilient, recording more limited losses. Overall, volumes are well below the usual average, reminiscent of the difficult 2021 harvest.
The late harvest required rigorous sorting to preserve quality. Despite the challenges, the harvested grapes reached excellent ripeness thanks to a sunny spell in September. The reds stand out for their richness and concentration, comparable to great vintages like 2010. The whites, characterized by their elegance, are reminiscent of the 2022 vintage.
Initial tastings reveal promising wines with concentrated aromas and fine structure. This vintage, though quantitatively limited, is shaping up to be a qualitative success.
