Tasting notes
Nose: Aromas of russet apple, fresh almond, white flowers and hazelnut.
Palate: Notes of peach and apricot carry through from the nose to the palate. The wine is smooth and generous, with discreet acidity and beautifully ripe fruit. In great vintages, it can be reminiscent of Meursault. The palate is supple, elegant and remarkably long-lasting.

Origins
Yet today, this discreet appellation offers one of the most attractive quality-to-price ratios in the Côte de Beaune, Burgundy.
The Auxey-Duresses vineyards face south and south-east, at elevations ranging from 260 to 360 metres above sea level.
The soils are predominantly limestone, with a low proportion of clay.
Vinification and maturing
After a light settling of the must, fermentation takes place slowly in oak barrels, followed by 10 months of ageing in the same barrels, allowing the wine to develop greater complexity, texture and elegance.
Vintage : 2025
Across the entire vineyard, harvesting began up to two weeks earlier than in 2024 and extended over a longer-than-usual period to adapt to weather conditions, which turned rainy at the outset of the harvest. All grapes were brought in on time: sanitary conditions were very good, and the fruit shows an aromatic concentration that suggests elegant, refined wines. While volumes appear stable compared to 2024, they nevertheless remain below the five-year average.
At the time of the first run-offs in mid-September, red wines were showing gentle extraction with fine colour. White wines, meanwhile, quickly revealed themselves to be rich, flavoursome and concentrated, while retaining fine freshness thanks to cool nights that preserved acidity.
In summary, 2025 is shaping up to be a vintage of character and quality, for both red and white Burgundy wines.
