Côte de Beaune
Côte de Beaune
The historic heart of Burgundy wines, the town of Beaune gave its name to the vineyards of this south-east-facing slope, which extends over 6,000 hectares from Corgoloin to Maranges (a village located a few kilometres north of Chalon-sur-Saône).
The richness and diversity of the Côte de Beaune terroirs give rise to great red wines that are ample, harmonious and refined, as well as great white wines that are balanced, complex and subtle. At the heart of the “golden triangle”, between Meursault, Puligny-Montrachet and Chassagne-Montrachet, Burgundy’s Grands Crus white wines are born. Overlooking the Côte de Beaune, the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune vineyards produce fresh and fruity wines, full of charm and elegance.
